STM's Synodal Way - Spring 2022: "A Listening Church"

In May 2021, Pope Francis surprised the Church by announcing that a synodal process that includes “listening to all of the baptized” before he gathers with the bishops again in 2023. 

STM is coordinating its listening sessions at which Catholics will be encouraged to share their opinions on what is expected of today’s Church. Sessions will be guided by universal questions for dioceses worldwide examining the perceptions of today’s Catholics. All Catholics/parishioners...practicing, inactive, thrilled, or disappointed are most welcome to come share. Please join us in this important time as we seek to listen to the Holy Spirit speaking through you and your experiences to help guide us forward  in bold faith!

1) Schedules of the Parish Family Listening Session (in O'Connor Hall)
Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 immediately after 5pm Mass
Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022 immediately after 8am, 10am, or 12pm Masses
Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 immediately following our 7pm Eucharistic Adoration

2) CCD Family Listening Sessions
Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022 as part of  Our Regularly Scheduled Family Catechesis
Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022 as part of  Our Regularly Scheduled Family Catechesis
 
3)  Pastoral Council and Active Ministries Listening
Sessions like K of C, Legion of Mary, Bible Class, Public Discipleship Ministry, etc.
