STMYG POWER HOURS!
The Youth Group will be hosting their next EUCHARISTIC HOLY HOUR on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015. All are invited to come and worship with us from 7:30-8:30PM in the church. Join our youth group as we come together to pray and worship together in the presence of our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. There will be time for quiet prayer as well as prayerful music as we spend time with our Lord. This Holy Hour is open to all parishioners and their families and friends. Come out and join us!! STM Youth Group is held every Wednesday in Room 5 and is open to any of our parish youth from grades 7-12. Hope to see you there!!
OUR GIVING TREE HAS ARRIVED! As the Holy
Father has said - we should share with those less
fortunate. This year we have several charities.
Josephine’s Place is run by the Sisters of Charity and helps women and their families become independent. The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Essex County
assists the homeless. Essex Regional Educational
Service Commission provides education to those who need extra help. St. Peters Orphanage is a residential treatment facility which provides a homelike atmosphere for adolescent boys whose parents cannot care for them. Perpetual Help Day Nursery is run by Catholic Charities and provides early childhood care, education and
nutritious meals for residential and day school for boys with disabilities.
Starting this weekend, PLEASE remember to take a tag or tags off the tree. Purchase the $15-$25 gift, wrap it securely, attach the tag and return under the tree by Dec. 13th at the latest.
Thank you for purchasing the gift on your tags. You will make someone happy this Christmas.
