Vision StatementWe envision every child of our parish having a personal love of Jesus and an understanding of His mission given to the world. We believe that Catechesis is built upon proclaiming the Word, celebration of Sacraments, experience and witness, and service as we build up the Mystical Body of Christ—the Church.
Mission StatementOur goal is to have our children realize that being a Catholic-Christian is a way of life. This spiritual journey involves a head to heart understanding of what it means to make a Christian difference in this world. Parents teach by their word and example as the primary educators in the Domestic Church. Our parish catechists support families by providing quality religious education in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. Through the cooperative effort of parents, catechists, our parish family, and students, our children will grow in their love for God and knowledge of their Catholic faith, develop their God-given gifts and talents, and live to be Jesus’ hands, feet, and heart in this world!

Catechists Are Always Needed!
Catechists take a lesson written in a textbook and find a way to etch it upon the hearts of their students. They do so much more than stand in front of a podium or write vocabulary words on the board. Even when they teach “facts”—these facts are a basis for which we are to live and build a Kingdom. Their planning is a labor of love that totally reflects God’s love. They teach by example. They share themselves with their students. A Catechist echoes God’s Word and His Love.
