All of the excerpts are available below. We hope these short meditations will help you prepare for the mystery of the Descent of the Holy Spirit that we will celebrate on Sunday!
St. Thomas More Parish is blessed to bring our families and community together year after year for a few fun days at our Annual Carnival. This year with the difficult circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus, we are unable to welcome you all for our Carnival. The parish relies heavily on the funds raised through the carnival ride tickets, game booths, and our raffle sales for providing for our ministry and mission, operations and staffing, and grounds and maintenance each year. In your kindness and generosity, would you consider making a donation to help support us in our time of need? To make a donation, click here. Click here for a letter from His Holiness Pope Francis to all the faithful for the month of May 2020. In the letter, Pope Francis asks us to pray the Rosary in our families as is customary during the month of May. He also gives us two prayers to include in our recitation of the Holy Rosary as we ask for Our Lady's intercession through these difficult times. Through the Coronavirus, STM continues its Living Rosary at 8PM each evening. We encourage our families to continue participating in this living prayer chain with the prayers Pope Francis asks of us. For information on our Living Rosary, a guide to pray the Rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet, please click here. Cardinal Tobin, our Archbishop has offered a reflection titled "5 Reasons We Turn to Mary in Times of Crisis." To read this prayerful reflection, click here. Please join us as we pray the Holy Rosary via live-stream. We will pray it together during our First Friday Devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus following 11AM Mass on Friday, May 1st and following our 11AM Mass on Sunday, May 3rd! Click here to go to our live-stream. Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us! |
