Faith Quest 2021

As part of the Archdiocese of Newark's New Energies Initiative in 2007, the four cluster parishes of West Essex (St. Aloysius, Notre Dame, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament and St. Thomas More) have collaborated to develop an adult education and formation forum. FAITH QUEST 2021 will be offered online only on Wednesday, March 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 7:30-9:00 PM. This year, Faith Quest is offered for free via live-stream.

March 3: Nunc Coepi (Now I Begin) Discovering Again New Life After the Scandal
Msgr. Joseph R. Reilly: Rector-Immaculate Conception Seminary, Dean of the School of Theology and member of the Board of Trustees for Seton Hall University. The talk will focus on the foundation of passion, the staying power of perseverance and the living conviction of courage.

March 10: Saint Paul and His Missionary Journeys
Rev. John Gabriel: Pastor of St Paul’s, Ramsey and a prior pastor of St. Thomas More. From Damascus to Rome, From the Acts of the Apostles to the Epistles: The Life of St. Paul in Sacred Scripture.

March 17: The Beatitudes: What Do They Really Mean?
Ginger Grancagnolo, Ed.D., OPA: Lecturer, author and private counselor. These ideas and more will be discussed so that we can finally understand what is the real Christian mission these days.

March 24: Last Days of Jesus
Rev. Christopher M. Ciccarino: Associate Dean for the Seminary and Academic Studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary. As we reach the culmination of Lent, join a presentation of a walk through the final days of Jesus, to see what light the archaeology of Jerusalem can shine on the mystery of the Lord’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection.
