On Sunday, March 6, STM pitched its Lenten "Living Rosary" Initiative, and nearly 100 individuals and families signed up! Beginning 3/6, through the Season of Lent, our parish has 5 full rosaries (20 mysteries each) being prayed each day for peace in the world, especially in Ukraine and Europe, and for an increase in faith, hope, and love. We also remember the intentions of all those in need, especially those among our parish family. Each family or individual that signed up commits to praying one mystery/decade of the Rosary each day (through the Season of Lent). With the 19 other mysteries being prayed by others, the Rosary comes alive as a complete “Living Rosary” and prayer of spiritual communion in our parish family. As we begin this Holy Season of Lent, we go "into the desert" with Jesus to learn his way. His way teaches us that every Good Friday brings an Easter Sunday. By dying to ourselves, we may find new life in Christ. In our Living Rosary, we will meditate on the Gospel (the Good News, the mysteries of the Rosary) and ask Mary to teach us about her Son's life so that we can embrace and live his way in our lives. We still have time to begin another Living Rosary! Please see Fr. Marek or contact Colleen at the Parish Office for your mystery and information on participating. We hope you will join us in this Lenten Parish-Wide prayer! Comments are closed.
