As members of the Catholic Church of Newark, we are united by a common mission entrusted to us by Jesus Christ - to proclaim the Gospel, to pass on the faith to the next generation through the celebration of the sacraments, and to care for the poor and vulnerable. The 2019 Sharing God's Blessings Appeal binds us more closely to this mission through our stewardship of God's many gifts.
STM sponsored Pajama Night/Story Time on Sunday, February 17th with local author and parishioner, John McNally. Children heard the stories of Roscoe the Bear, Teddy Bear Park, and more. They learned the importance of the tabernacle and the need to pray and share their stories with Jesus. The children enjoyed homemade gingerbread cookies made by Sandy McNally and drank hot cocoa. Thank you to all who were able to join us!

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen.
