Summer CCD will be offered to grades three (3) through grade seven (7). Summer CCD will not be offered to CCD students receiving a sacrament - 2nd grade receiving First Eucharist and 8th grade receiving Confirmation.
Attendance at Summer CCD will fulfill the requirements for the 24/25 CCD school year. However, they will also need to fulfill additional requirements listed below. Daily mass begins at 9am and all classes will be held in O'Connor Hall from 9:30 am. to 10:30 am. Summer CCD students will be asked to attend daily mass. The summer CCD dates are as follows: Thursday, June 20th Friday, June 21st Monday, June 24th to Friday, June 28th ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS No absences will be permitted (except with doctors note) Homework will be assigned each day and all HW must be completed by July 10th Attendance at 9am daily mass (June 20th, 21st & June 24th -28th) Sunday mass participation will be recorded. Attendance at 3 workshops will be required throughout the year Please help as we need volunteers to assist in teaching. If anyone is able to teach for all of the required dates, your children attending CCD will have free tuition. Lesson plans will be prepared for the material you will be asked to teach. You will be able to choose one session / Mass each month. Then in December a form will be sent out with Jan-April session dates. There are 7 months and 7 sessions.
