ANNOUNCEMENTS October 19, 2025 You are invited to attend one of our “We Are His Witnesses” Listen Sessions on Monday, November 17 and Wednesday, November 19 at 6:00 PM in O’Connor Hall. For those unfamiliar, We Are His Witnesses is a pastoral initiative inspired by Pope Francis’s encyclical The Joy of the Gospel. In an August 2025 interview with Jersey Catholic, Auxiliary Bishop Michael Saporito shared, “We Are His Witnesses is about a conversion of hearts, minds, and habits, so we can be more effective across the four counties of the archdiocese and ensure our parishes are strong and sustainable for the future. It calls for an honest evaluation of our current practices and structures. Over time, some parishes may need to merge or close. It won’t be easy, but as one Church, we’ll walk together in faith, compassion, and mutual support.” If you would like to learn more about the potential plan for the future of our parish, we encourage you to join us for one of these important sessions.

Saint Thomas More Church was founded in 1963 to serve the Body of Christ of the Archdiocese of Newark in Fairfield, New Jersey.

By holding true to the Gospel and through faithful stewardship, our parish perseveres in faith, hope, and love and builds up the Kingdom of God here on Earth.
